Why Democrats Lie and Republicans Don’t Seem to Care

In today’s volatile headlines, while the Democrats are screaming that Trump is “mentally unstable” and the Republicans are shouting that “Shifty Schiff” is undermining the rule of law, it’s important to remain focused on the real issues that are purposefully being sublimated by the Fake News Media on behalf of the Deep State, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Hollywood Establishment, and the Globalist Cabal.

A quick online jaunt to https://www.house.gov/legislative-activity and it’s relatively easy to see how much of the House of Representatives day-to-day schedule is being eaten up by the Left’s activist-driven agenda. For instance, while it is a noble pursuit to lessen the impact that tobacco and tobacco products have on America’s youth, is there really a necessity for, not one, or two, but three committees in the House to be spending an entire day’s hearing on this issue. The Committees on Appropriations, the Judiciary, and Energy and Commerce are devoting today’s hearing schedules to this issue. Granted, of the three committees, Appropriations is actually tackling a policy and program review of the Food and Nutrition Services, as well as the NASA-proposed lunar landing, but the point is that there are so many other more pressing issues that these committees could be focused on that would directly impact the economic health of both the country and the citizenry.

One of these hearings undertaken by the Committee on House Administration is on House Bill 4617 “Stopping Harmful Interference in Elections for a Lasting Democracy Act” or SHIELD Act. All frivolous Marvel Comics references aside, this bill, written and introduced by Chairperson Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), is not actually designed to be a legitimate piece of legislation that will attempt to keep our elections protected from “interference” by outside forces. This is a deliberate and carefully orchestrated attempt by Representative Lofgren to mislead the public by continuing to shore up a collapsed and asinine Russia-Collusion narrative that has been perpetuated by the Fake News Media for over three years. With the help of their allies in the Swamp, the mainstream DNC enablers have managed to look past all the legally arrived-at conclusions regarding this lie and have deceitfully acted as if the Mueller Report was never delivered to Congress.

In an effort to prove this point, let’s take a stroll into the legislative history of Rep. Lofgren to gain a larger perspective on just how deluded these lawmakers are and how far they’ll go in order to literally throw a man in prison (if they can) who committed one of the most heinous crimes known to the DC elite: he won an election without THEIR permission or endorsement.

Suffice it to say that she has very little interest in those issues other than to stand in 100% diametric opposition to Donald Trump, his policies, Republicans, and anyone else who is even in the satellite orbit of the president.

Zoe Lofgren was elected to the US House of Representatives in 1995, representing the 19th District of California, out of San Jose. You could not elect a more Progressive Left candidate than if you elected Kathy Griffin or Don Lemon to office. Her achievements in these circles are voluminous, but there is a marked and profound emphasis on issues that affect the rights of illegal aliens, LBGTQIA issues, animal rights, climate change, and…the renaming of post offices? Yes, it’s true. Rep. Lofgren has a pronounced symbiotic relationship with those who feel that the renaming of post offices rates right up there with national security, terror, economic vibrancy, and governmental oversight on spending. Suffice it to say that she has very little interest in those issues other than to stand in 100% diametric opposition to Donald Trump, his policies, Republicans, and anyone else who is even in the satellite orbit of the president.

A quick perusal of Lofgren’s interests since December of 2016 (one month after Donald Trump won the election and one month before his Inauguration) it is easy to track this representative’s privation of deep bipartisan efforts to get things done. As a matter of record, Lofgren has been prolific in being involved in hearings and votes for many hundreds of bills, however her focus on all things Donald Trump, particularly when it comes to certain issues of competency of office, racism, climate change denial, and gun confiscation is of definite note.

An addendum has been attached to this article which lists several categories of bills that Lofgren was notably happy to support. Note that nearly 100% of these bills that she co-sponsored were written by Democrats. While this is a normal process, it should be understood that Lofgren bleeds a pure blue for the party and there is barely enough room to slip a piece of paper between her Trump Derangement Syndrome and the New Socialist movement of the Left.

Again, the bills supported by Lofgren are not designed to act as legislation to prevent anything. They are designed to usher the mind of the American bystander along the path to a particular frame of mind. For instance, the bills regarding the president’s taxes and emoluments issues are not designed to force Donald Trump to “come clean” with whatever they believe he’s hiding. These bills are meant to instill in the American voter the thought that he cannot be trusted because he is hiding his tax returns and has many businesses for which he is illegally earning a fortune while residing in the White House.

As well, the bills surrounding his inferred (and often times, blatantly stated) racism and lack of competence are specifically written to make the public believe that Donald Trump spends every waking moment devising ways to suppress the rights of African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and Jews, as well as a plethora of other races and ethnic groups. He also is so unhinged as to be endangering the health and welfare of this entire nation due to his incompetence.

Victims like Eric Swalwell and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes are a bit too green to get that, but old hands at the game, like Nancy Pelosi and Zoe Lofgren know all too well that the object is to appear to be outraged while peddling the cheap scotch as Johnny Walker Blue.

At the same time the Democrats are insisting that he is mentally ill, they also want you to believe that he is so cunning and wily as to have fooled not only the entire base of his supporters, but also of the entire consultant class and political veterans of Washington, DC, by committing treason against this country (collusion with Russia) and then completely covering it up without a trace of footsteps or fingerprints in his wake!

Understand that Representative Zoe Lofgren doesn’t really believe any of this tripe. She is quite aware that in order to work in the Swamp, you must embrace the rules of the Swamp. If you fall prey to the ravages of scandal-storms that swirl around the newsrooms in America, you’re liable to become a victim of the very yellow journalism that you’ve worked so hard to concoct.

House Bill 4617 “Stopping Harmful Interference in Elections for a Lasting Democracy Act” written by Lofgren is a perfect example of this sleight of hand. The object of this bill is not really to combat foreign influence because, let’s be honest, foreign influence has been going on in our elections since the founding of this country. To suggest that this influence will soon disappear because of a few words on paper and a table-thumping fist to emphasize the explanation points is intellectually dishonest. It’s meant specifically to mislead the public and keep them on the path to ignorance of reality.

Robert Mueller stated in his conclusions about Russian influence that, while it had indeed occurred, that not a single vote had been altered and that no evidence of the president, his staff or any other American had worked in tandem with the Russians to affect the outcome of the election. Now, while many of us disagree with that assessment (we know, for instance, that the Democrats actually DID collude with foreign agents to affect the outcome of our elections) the fact remains that there is no basis for the assertions in this SHIELD Act bill.

They prattle on about how terribly corrupt this president is, while turning a deaf ear to the Bidens, Clintons and any other Democrat with a serious accusation of felony.

The question then is, why write the bill in the first place? Obviously, the Democrats feel compelled to continue pushing the Russian-Collusion narrative because now, more than ever, it is imperative to impeach this president. The Articles of Impeachment that are being cobbled together behind closed doors will include (make no mistake) Russian collusion, as well as this Ukrainian connection and the emoluments clause violations. They need us to believe that this president is a very corrupt individual whose business practices in the past have come to fruition over the course of his time in office and somehow benefit him and his family. If we don’t buy that argument, all is lost in 2020.

And they know it.

Take a look at the bills that were supported by Lofgren from 2016 to present and you’ll see that, plainly, the Democrats really don’t have a lot of interest in the American people and their “kitchen table” issues. Their sole focus is on putting forward this false narrative that Trump is an illegitimate president and that everyone who supports him is equally inconsequential. If you support this president, you are a reprobate; therefore, your opinions do not count. They prattle on about how terribly corrupt this president is, while turning a deaf ear to the Bidens, Clintons and any other Democrat with a serious accusation of felony. It truly demonstrates how Lofgren is wasting taxpayer dollars on this fraudulent piece of legislation, devoting an entire days’ hearing to the matter, when all it will accomplish at the end of the day is another false claim against the president that holds no sway over the public it is meant to influence.

The Republicans in Congress are like the daycare center teachers who are running around trying to ensure that the Democrat toddlers who are toppling over towers of blocks, writing on the walls, putting things in their mouths that shouldn’t be there and taking each other’s toys, are not acting on the president’s behalf because the amount of meltdowns and temper tantrums on a daily basis are keeping them distracted from the real issues.

It might be time for the president to get his daycare workers together for a conference with the adults (the American voters) and explain to them that the children are not in charge. If it means that they should receive a good spanking, maybe that will finally convince them to share their toys, stop hitting each other, and take a well-earned nap once in a while.

There’s nothing worse than a kid hopped up on too many energy drinks who loves having his/her picture taken. Replace the drinks with some warm milk and let them sleep. When they wake up again, perhaps their crayon tips will stay inside their coloring books and not on the brand new paint job at the White House.
